Get the test, being pregnant is probably in the back of her mind too. I know many people who thought they were pregnant, sprang for the test, found out they weren't then got their period within 24 hours. Was it a coincidence or did it relieve stress that they had internalized. Don't know.
She may find out she is not pregnant and it will relieve stress, if she is pregnant, then she will know. DO IT.

Stress can do so much to the body. I would advise you to wait and see how she feels in a few weeks. Take her out to dinner and a movie to de-stress that may help, and you will get a chance to see if is any different. If in a few weeks nothing has changed for her and she still doesn't have her period, talk to her about it and see if she has any idea what may be going on with her body. She should have more of an idea on what may be going on with her body by then. Sometimes it takes weeks to months to get any pregnancy symptoms, some women don't get any symptoms at all. Good luck.

Stress can cause a woman to miss periods. And there are a number of health reasons as well. You did not mention if your G/F has regular cylces or not. I would let your G/F lead the way as far as taking a pregnancy test. If you take one too early you could get a false reading. However if she is still not getting her period in the next couple weeks, I would suggest going to the DR or local Planned Parenthood clinic.

it's correct that stress can easily cause a late period. i can't tell you how many times i've broken down and got a pregnancy test, done it found it negative, and then started the next day. it can be a stress reliever just to find out you're not! *L*
the simplest thing is to talk with her about it and see if she wants to do one. hopefully you have the kind of relationship where you can talk about these things. if you don't then i hope you either work on it, or, if you and she CANT talk about these things, then something is wrong. you sound like a nice guy, hope you find a nice woman if she's not the one. and, best of luck if she is!

Stress can cause you to miss your period. And symptoms of pregnacy can take awhile to show. I didn't get any sort of symptoms until I was a month pregnant. She needs to get a test. If she is pregnant than she needs to see a doctor. If she's not and this is just stress related than taking a test thats negative will make her feel more at ease.

If she is under stress, it can totally stop her period. Her body will shut down & not ovulate. I'm sure she will start as soon as the stress is gone. But if she's stressing over being pregnant, adding to the stress she's already under, then I would get her a test ASAP.

I think you should go ahead and tell her how you feel. Let her know that you think she might be pregnant because she has missed a period and you are worried about her. Let her know that you want her to take a test so that both of you will know for sure if she is pregnant so that she can seek medical care. And if she is not pregnant it will put both of your minds at ease.

You could simply ask your girfriend why she thinks her period is late. If she then says she suspects she may be pregnant ask her if she would like a test kit to confirm it.
Remember that although it takes two to make a baby it is her body and she does have a right to make decisions for herself and her body. The most helpful thing you can do is to set aside your need to know for a while and just be there for her.

Get her a pregnancy test !!!! It is better to know as early as possible so that she can start getting the care that she needs and it could prevent problems later.
