I just want to make a few files private without having to make a whole new account on the PC. Any help would be nice, Thanks!

You need some sort of file hiding program such as....

Lock Folder XP.... http://www.everstrike.com/lock_folder.htm

This program is free to try but costs $24.95 if you want to register it.

There may be a free program that does the same thing but Lock Folder XP I found to be really useful and worth the cost of registering! ;)

If you want to do the 'fun' way then you can put each file/set of files, in a zip folder and then right hand click, add password.

Though it can be a pain to do it does save disk space :)

Here is the answer...I got it today from Radio-canada.ca which is the Public broadcasting channel .

If you have a genuine Windows XP you can download directly and for free, their own locked Folder.

here is the address:

http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/downloads/AutomaticUpdates.aspx?displaylang=en&OfferId=441c2998-248b-49cf-b084-f3a237b58f71&CountryCode=USA&sGuid=0487241e-e2c6-4a77-8c3a-5daceedb035d&diag=undefined&error=0

I installed it on my computer this afternoon in no time.
Enjoy!
