Look at all the Harry Potter Books. They are viewed as Young Adult, Fiction. Her last several books have been very long. But very hard to put down and make great reading. You could also get some of the Sci Fi Books about Stargate and Stargate SG 1. Fun to read also. Some libraries have a online program where you can sign up and they will send you bits and pieces of a book of the week in any category you would like to hear about. Right now I am reading bits and pieces about Empress Orchid, The Kills. Also if you look on library web sites they will also give you information about books to read or that just came out also in an area you are interested in. Enjoy.

Twilight is over 500 pages long, and it is one of the best books I've ever read. It's by Stephenie Meyer. It is about your average high school girl, Bella, who just happens to fall in love with Edward, a vampire.
Uglies, Pretties, and Specials are dystopic novels which I believe classifies them in the science fiction genre. They're about a futuristic society where everything is not as it appears. I forgot to mention the author--Scott Westerfeld.
Orson Scott Card is a great science fiction writer. He also writes some fantasy novels. Ender's Game is his most famous. And again, all of the books I'm mentioning are over 200 pages.

Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Marillier
--one of the best interpretation/adaptation of a traditional myth I've ever read. A very deep and moving story of ancient Eire and Briton. A rich gorgeous tapestry of a book.
Trade Pack Universe (Trilogy) by Julie E. Czerneda
A Thousand Words for Stranger
Ties of Power
ToTrade the Stars
--a great universe with loads of aliens, ships, danger, and powers that sucks you in with its realism. You'll love the characters and you'll love meeting the different races and their planets. If you're into that kind of thing that is.
In the Company of Others by Julie E. Czerneda (single novel)
--one of my all time favorite novels and I only discovered Czerneda 2 years ago. The two main characters become like people you know. Great sci-fi too, a little deep at times.
Hope this helps...now I'm going to go add this and more to my 360 page.

Harry Potter books are definitely good fantasy books that are over 200 pages long. So are the Uglies trilogy by Scott Westerfeld and the Inheritance trilogy by Christopher Paolini. Try those books, they're very good.

yea the heart is deceitful above all things is an awesome book. be prepared for a truly graphic story though. Young jeremiah is taken from his foster parents by his birth mother and is taken on the road, a road filled with many truck stops, abusive boyfriends, and ultra-religious grandparents as his "mother" takes him from his happy life into her crazy life as a "addicted" and poor mother, trying to make a living any way possible. jeremiah soon realizes that his mother is causing his life to become a spiral of despair that he has become so engrossed in that he will never escape. the only thing he has left to hold onto is the bond between a mother and son. Wackjob mom or not, there is always a special connection between family. AM I A GREAT WRITER OR WAT!!! i just made up that whole summary, and a pretty good summary if i do say so myself.

The Louise Rennison series is the funniest series I've ever read (Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging). Also, My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Piccoult was absolutely amazing. And as for fantasy, gotta go with Sherryl Jordan's The Raging Quiet; my favorite book. Enjoy!

The best book I've read in a long time was KING FORTIS THE BRAVE - it was a fun book that kept me turning the pages. It's a fantasy book that is just short of 200 pages, but you'll be glad you read it.
