Do you think fugly people are more likely to stay with an abusive/cheating spouse? Does their fugliness cause them to cling on to any man/woman who they can find?

Beautiful persons are just as likely to stay in an abusive/cheating relationship as uncomly persons. Both can have self-esteem problems or both persons can have of themselves a healthy self-esteem. It is hard to put persons in a box and say all of these are going to be the same and all these will be different. All people are created equal and all deserve to be respected and appreciated for the life they have and the air they breathe. I have known beautiful persons who had major self-esteem problems. I have also known unattractive persons who were alive with self-esteem and their outward appearance was swallowed up by their inward self-confidence and love of life. They were persons to be envied.

many people...pretty and ugly stay w. abusive/cheating spouses.
ppl stay b/c of the control that the spouse have over them.
I don't think that looks really matter

no not necessarily. i think beautiful people stay in abusive relationships also. partially because they are scared to leave or they care about that person. i think all people are similar, no matter what they look like. i've found ugly people to be more selective than not.

Sometimes, because a lot of people is scared to be alone! So they are willing to be in a relationship like that.
