Hi Mohan, I am glad you asked a question about writing because it's very important to know how to write well. I am not sure if you mean you are preparing to write about a project or if you have a project or assignment to write something and you want to prepare for the writing itself. If you are writing about a project (like a science project for example) the best thing to do is to keep careful notes all along the way to help you remember what you did and why. Then it's easy to go back through your notes and use them for the writing.
If you are anticipating a writing project that is longer than anything you have written before, I would suggest that you plan for it by thinking of the different parts of the project: topic, introduction, argument or exposition, and conclusion or denouement.
For a long writing project it's important to start with brainstorming. make some notes or write down thoughts as they come to you, without trying to put everything in perfect English, perfectly organized. This will help you get to the central point you want to make. In a long written piece it's important to be sure that the ideas flow from one to the next in a smooth and logical way. Finally, editing for grammar, style and spelling are essential for either. I hope this gives you some ideas. Good luck!

I assume you are in school, based on your conjunctive,"project writing", and so I would at any age suggest keeping a journal or day book.

As a photographer I was tough the importance of recording impressions of work I had done and thus having some background info and dates for context. Looking back through these thus gave me some perspective of my personal growth or as the case may have been my consistencies.

In the long run the process itself even helped me remember and the more you write the more your oral conversing have the same kind of sophistication and tone!

I don't know, you find out and then tell me. Please... I'm serious.
Okay, let me be serious, you could probably practice writing on different topics but I think that is waste of time because it never helped me...Now what do you mean by project writing? Is it just basic project where you read or do something and then analyze. Then it would be pretty not simple, because that is what I am doing. REading a book and summarizing every single chapter. Really boring.

You didn't give much to go on here. I can suggest when writing anything extensive you start with a good outline and then work from there.
