Homosexuality...
Bisexuality...
Heterosexuality...

All of the above are 'LIFESTYLES''; they are not inherent within an individual,... THEY ARE CHOSEN. Currently, no direct genetic links have been isolated and genetic predispositions are, at best, arguable.

The instinctive 'survival' drive of homo sapiens inclines most humans to 'choosing' heterosexuality, as this 'lifestyle' naturally insures the survival of the species. As with many animal species, the instincts to "mate and procreate" are not as pronounced in some individuals as they are in others, hence the occasional aberrant behavior of a few to 'choose' a homosexual or bisexual path for other reasons; most likely for opportunistic sexual gratification.

If you question whether or not your gay at all, then you are gay. Straight people never wonder if they are gay. You know from an early age whether or not you have crushes on guys or girls. Be true to yourself. I will never understand why people think homosexuality is wrong. Those people can't help it. You're born gay, you don't choose to be gay. My friends who are gay, I knew they "weren't right" way back in first grade, certainly, 7 year olds have no idea what GAY is, so how the heck could they have chosen that? Usually people who are anti-gay say it's a choice, and people who are pro-gay understand that it's a chemical imbalance of sorts. I just don't understand how anti-gays can be anti-gay, why don't they just go out and pick on downs syndrome people, so they can be "anti-downs." Why, because it's a horrible idea, so why does it make it ok for people to protest about gays, they can't help that they're gay any more than downs syndrome people can help that they were born with downs.

Yes of course...Though there isn't any hardcore proof yet.

Though this has nothing to do w/ lesbians....
Interesting tidbit on men being gay: In the most recent TIME magazine, they did an article on siblings and how they influence one another. Part of the article talked about how some scientists in Canada discovered that many boys who are the youngest brothers in their families tend to end up gay...
They said that if a woman is carrying a boy fetus, that the woman's immune system may fight against the male hormones produced. This would be b/c her body recognizes the male hormones as a foriegn objects...So, as a result of the woman's body fighting against the male hormones in her male fetus, he could end up being pre-destined to be gay.
I forget why they said this usually happened after the woman had given birth to some male children already, though...

I havn't heard anything about genes and woman being gay, though. :\

This is a funny question because the whole argument about what causes someone to be gay is one side says its all in the genes (pro gay side) Anti Gay side says that its social influences

although in the Real World there has been no proof YET that there is a gay gene. maybe theyll find one maybe not

But as for you.. if you only get arousal from women your Straight, if you get arousal from men your gay.. from both your Bi...

Hey, it's OK if you want more from life besides monster truck shows, and those Budweiser commercials that confuse you, don't worry about the snickers when you walk into the room! Go out and get yourself a gold plated closet door hinge to symbolize your freedom !!

Honestly, it depends on who you listen to. People who support Gay rights and are sensitive to homosexuality typically say that gays are born that way. People who are against Gay rights typically say that it's a choice.

I don't believe the view that someone was born gay. Absolute lie ...

You have a choice to be the man you're born to be ...
Don't buy into the lie that you're born gay ...

You have a C-H-O-I-C-E ... choose the right one.

It is becoming the general idea that people who are homosexual are born that way. If you are having doubts about your sexuality, you should speak to a counselor.
