Most cars use steel of varying thickness. Some cars like Audis use aluminum. Others like Saturn use plastic composites. Fiberglass is rarely used, but is still found in Corvettes. High end performance cars also use carbon-fiber kevlar like in race cars.

Most common is sheet metal (steel). Some areas on cars are plastic, like the trunk lid or doors. Higher end sports cars use fiberglass, like vette, viper, etc. Another material is aluminum, like on the acura nsx. Very top dollar cars could use carbon fibre.

most generally car bodies out of mild steel because it is the cheapest
some higher performance cars are fiberglass
very high end cars even use carbon fiber because it is very light

You could be as simple as steel, aluminum, or as exotic as carbon fiber and wood. Depends on the car and when it was made and what it was made to do. More research and then you will have your answer.

It's depends on the car, some cars have fiberglass, like the Vette, and some use other material.

which car? Most use steel, some are fibreglass (Corvette etc..)
Others use plastic(s).
