States do not require prenuptial agreements. A person has to request a prenuptial agreement - but is optional, not a requirement for marriage.

A Prenuptial Agreement is not a requirement for marriage but could be something you require of your future bride.

nobody is required to have one. the couple chooses to have it or not. If you are the richer person, DO IT. If you are economically the same and want to grow together, dont! If he wants to have one for his personal reasons, have a lawer check it for you to make sure your best interest is also in paper! good luck!

I have been married twice, and a pre-nup has NEVER been required. It all depends on the ocuple, what they want or need, and if they choose to get one.
