WW11, and the 50's, the country was united as it has never been since. Romance was still romance, mom's were home after the war. In all the old family photos ladies looked like ladies and men like grown ups and families were together.
It saddened my family a great deal when I made choices in my life that were the opposite of many of their beliefs and wasn't the little lady they raised. However there were a lot of wrongs in our society that people of those eras turned a blind eye to, or were ignorant of , so I choose finally the 70's and the early 80's.

I would love to live in the 50's or 60's when life was simpler especially if I could live in Mayberry (The Andy Griffith Show). That would be a dream come true to me just to be able to escape the hustle and bustle of this time and go back to simpler things where everyone went to church on Sundays and there were ice cream socials and your neighbors were your best friends. Then I would be in heaven!!

In the late 1800 hundreds, everything seemed so exciting, with the invention of the car, all the gold rushes. I like movies from that era.

The era of beginnings, the era when
all life was still within the oceans,
When vision was the way of seeing into the
future, sensing danger, or looking for food
or to search for breeding companions ...
When land was still a virgin template for
new and exciting creatures to begin a new
way .....

The gay 90's. Lots of interesting inventions. The automobile, the telephone, loved the women's fashion. The world was entering a great new era, but still was young and Innocent.

The good ol' days!

Back in the 50's and 60's when things were booming. Better economy. People cared more for each other. Better community and neighbours.
Now its Dog eat Dog. You can't trust anybody. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer and the middle class is just about gone. I grew up when the middle class was the majority and poverty and unemployment was the exception.
