Everything we think we know about the Earth IS the opposite of the truth, just like you said. We think humans and dinosaurs never cooexisted, yet there are many many ancient petroglyphs and carvings and tablets that very clearly show a brachiosaurus. What do you think the dragons were?
The Sun is very much electrified, and doesn't undergo fusion in the core. The Sun rotates faster at the equator, and faster on the surface. Sunspots show us a cooler interior, and the corona around the Sun is 300 times hotter than the surface. The solar "wind" accelerates off the surface of the Sun, and causes auroras on our MAGNETIC poles. What do you think makes our planet spin around Sun, and rotate on its axis?
We believe the way the Earth exists now is the way it's existed for millions of years, except for the odd eruption and meteor impact. We believe the fossil record was made over millions of years. But if the Universe is electrified, great cosmic electromagnetic disturbances can cause massive catastrophes that would cause all these things, and make us believe that everything is a lot older than it really is. All of our ancient ancestors from every corner of the globe talked about massive lightning storms, and how the wind would blow so hard it would crack the mountains. Are they really as stupid as scientists these days think they are, or did they really see all this?
Most people these days believe all religion is false, and that it's so stupid. But some parts of the Bible (and all religious works for that matter) would really make you think different, if only you read them with an open mind. The Arc of the Covenant sounds surprisingly like a giant, gold electric capacitor. The stories surrounding it sound like it had strong electric properties, like how the priests had to handle it and how it worked.
Oh well, look into it yourself. Modern science is stupid stupid stupid.

Scientists love being wrong, because it means there isn't something they forgot to consider.
If everything we knew about the Earth was wrong, what a great study that would make.
I look at it this way. We have been on the Earth just as long as any other living thing. (Sure we may not always been humans, but our ancestors have been here since the beginning). Since then we have tamed fire, invented the wheel, created large biuldings, and even gone to the moon and beyond. Every other animal is still working on the taming fire thing. Compared to them, we know a thousand times more that we know for sure is correct.

Your question is rather vague, but I'll take a stab at it.
If you're meaning "truth" in some absolute philosopical sense, then there's no way to prove that what we know is true or not.
If you're meaning "truth" in the physically-observable sense, then here's the deal: what we know is what we've observed. It's possiblle that *conclusions* drawn from our observations are wrong in either smaller or larger ways, but the observations are the observations. If the thermometer says it's 30 degrees out, then that's true -- assuming the thermometer is accurate. Observable, repeatedly-measurable facts we can be certain of.
Your question, as stated seems to imply that you believe that it's impossible to be sure of anything. If this is an incorrect assumption, please clarify your question a bit. The other unclear item is "the truth". What specifically do you mean?

What we know of the Earth, truly now for sure, isn't much. If the opposite of that were true then as well, we must be dumber than dinosaurs.

That is not ppossible.
Becoz truth is what we see, hear, and feel,so whatever we know is the truth.
And why dont you think something creative, rather then such scary thoughts???
