How do you survive them? I plan to move but not for about 2 or so months. Please share your experiences and what you have done to keep them alive.

One answer, phone sex. I am in my second long distance relationship. This time I have my own phone and my own place and she has the same. So we tend to have phone sex at times where we talk about what we would like to do together when we are together. We also have watched tv together over the phone and use the Internet. It is all about keeping the communication lines open. The only reason that we are apart is that I got too good of an offer to work out of state.

I've been in a long distance relationship, and when I was in that relationship, it helped by planing when you are going to see the person, contacting them on a regular basis and and telling the person how much you miss and love them. Also, whenever you have the time of work, use that time to see the one you love, and spend as much time with this person as you can and vice versa. In my experience, more effort people put into a relationship, the more you will gain from it.

They don't work. Some do if you can live without the physical part. But to my opinion, a good healthy relationship cannot survive with out the physical actions to show the emotional actions.

My boyfriend lives in Alaska and I live in Oregon. So far We are doing great. But I just got to say is that if you really love him than for sure it can work but If you're not in love with him or vice versa than I suggest you get out of it. Cuz you are just setting yourself up for nothing

In my experience they don't work but if your moving closer to them then maybe. Just try and keep in close contact. Just don't be so surprised when someone comes between you or it doesn't work out.

i did i try he broke up with me cause he love his family more but see i understand but he was not ready so why did he go out with me in the 1st place i dont get it guys are dumb than gurls somtimes alot more
