As the others mentioned, register as undecided or whatever they call it at your University and get your grades up enough to get into the program of your choice. I also advise that you make it you business to speak with the faculty from the department that your interested in ( so they don't forget you). Oh yeah, make sure that you take the classes that you NEED so that you don't end up being in a 4 year program for 6 years.Good luck and if you have anymore questions ask!

They will either assign you to your second choice major if you chose one, or it will be open for you to pick an alternate major. You need to talk with a counselor at the school. Sometimes you can just take some general classes the first semester at the university as an undeclared or liberal arts major, and then re-apply for the major you had originally wanted. Once you are already a student at the school they might reconsider and let you into that major. I've had friends experience this. Good luck!

Start by taking some general education classes, do well, then try getting into the major you want. Talk to an advisor and ask what you can do to put yourself in a good position to be accepted. Maybe extracurricular activities will help, like doing volunteer work.

Good luck.
