If youhad another chance to do it over again would you have waited? Was it what you thought it would be? Do you look back and smile or do you regret it?

I was 21 years old when I "lost my virginity" (I didn't lose anything, I got exactly what I wanted!) to the guy I'm still with 4 years later. We have a lot of love and respect for each other as friends and as lovers so I am glad I did it. I would not have waited.

I'd be lying if I said it was everything I thought it would be. I pictured being in bed and we were on the couch. I pictured myself being careful about protection which I wasn't (bad!). But I did picture myself being with someone I loved who loved me back.

I look back and smile and usually go and give my guy a big hug and kiss and tell him I'm happy to be with him. I think I'll go do that right now. :)

No, I couldn't get rid of it fast enough.
I suppose it helps to NOT read romance novels before losing one's virginity, I expected more from the relationship. At the time I thought the sex was great, but upon acquiring a basis for comparison, one realizes there's much, MUCH better sex to be had.
The guy was a total idiot and he got around(he was actually cheating on his GF by being with me). He wouldn't have a chance with me nowadays, but back then I was bonkers for him.
No regrets.

I was 14. I would do it over and wait till I was at least 19. It was not at all what I thought it would be, it was horrible. I look back now and regret every moment I had with that loser.

I was 25. I thought it was never going to happen :-(
I didnt find the right person to share that with, it was just sex and I would have liked it to be a little bit better. I dont regret waiting, and no.. it was not what I thought it would be. It hurt, and I didnt like it until like the 3rd time!

I was 18 and he was 17. It was weird going home thinking "I'm not a virgin anymore". I do regret it though, I wish I would have waited until I was married. He was my first and only and through repentance we have been married and sealed for time and all eternity in the LDS temple!
