The most beautiful was the sun setting in the straits of Gibraltar, The ship gliding through the white cresting waves making sweet music as the day draws to a close.

The most awful thing was attending a five year old girl at a car crash, she didn't have a seat belt on and was very badly hurt. I don't know whether she completely recovered but I would have to say that the thankyou letter I got from her was probably the second most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

I am not a professional, but I cannot drive by without at least trying to help.

I see it every morning when I wake up next to my partner, all natural and gorgeous. Now that is a beautiful sight. When I was training to be a nurse I lived opposite Fred and Rosemary West and, the worst thing that I saw were the dead bodies being carried out in make shift coffins. What made it worse was knowing what had happened to them prior to their death and how long they had been there. 9/11 has to be up there as well, but I didn't personally witness that, just saw it on the news and in the papers. Pretty awful nonetheless.

The most beautiful sight apart from my daughter being born has to be Lake Louise in Canada; the most awful sight I cannot forget was an Ethiopian woman cradling her dead baby. Her surroundings were like a dust-bowl and the sound she made was pitiful; she hardly had the strength to cry and it upset me greatly that the world we live in is so unfair and ignorant.

the most beautiful sight i have ever seen was during a winters morning i was stairing through the window and saw the sun rising while a thick layer of white frost fell lightly over london town. my memories were then sharply scard for ever as i watched the most awful thing i have ever seen, two pensioners well over the age of 70 both (male) one on his knees the other with his trousers down and his wrinkly old **** out urinating into his pals mouth while receiving oral sex. it crushed me mentally.

The most beautiful sight I have ever seen was my sons face after he was born (after they cleaned him up of course!) the most awful is probably the time he crapped himself right after I took his diaper off! It was disgusting, but I love him anyway :)

the most beautiful thing i ever saw was a fox running across the highway late at night, shes was so graceful, as far as aweful it would have to be that video running around the internet a while ago of that soldier cutting that other soldiers head off, or the one with the guy putting nails through his testicles
