Buying your first cell phone is a very common and confusing process! When you buy a cell phone every company wants your business and they will do whatever it takes for you to choose them. One thing to make sure of is to not go over your minutes! Your parents will be mad (well, if they are paying for it) if you go over because it cost extra $$$ every time you go over! Also, try not to go under your minutes a lot because then it is a waste of money. Your first phone shouldn't be the "phone of your dreams". Make sure you do not buy a really fancy phone cause you can always get a better phone in the future. Talk over the plans with a family member such as mom or dad. Then together you can decide which plan gives you the most for your money. Another tip- don't loose your cell phone because that happens to a lot of people everyday! How you can prevent this is to find a certain place such as dresser in your room and buy a cell phone holder that fits your personality! Try not to loose the charger too because this can result in no phone because it is dead........... so keep the charger in a safe place that you can remember! So if you follow these steps you should have a very good expierence with your cell phone! :)
Good Luck!!!!!

My first cell phone was (and still is) a Virgin Mobile. Their service is very afforable, that is, if you don't use the phone a lot. I've never had very low service and their customer service is very nice. If you make more than, like 10 calls a day, don't get a prepaid phone. I only use the phone when I need to, so I only use it maybe 4 times maximum each day. Good luck! :)
