The specialist suggested epidurals of steroids which I declined. I do physical therapy but I don't think that's enough. I've gone to a chiropractor for 10 years and no longer go since the rupture. Any other remedies out there?

I have a bulging disc so understand there is a difference. I was going to physical therapy three times a week, taking lots of prescribed medications and not working. I found a MD that believes in natural medications as well as prescribed medications. To make a long story short, with a few changes in diet and adding some supplements I can now walk without the pain, sit in a chair or in the car for more than 10-20 minutes.

I had the same problem a long time ago--first, stay away from the bone crackers--they make it worse. I used just the physical therapy and have been doing great for a long time--don't rush it and don't give up on the therapy, the back will never be as good as new but it will do the job.. Good luck..

I had it removed years ago & except for the monthly chiropractor visits & 10lb weight lift limit, I'm fine. Talk to a surgeon, you have been in pain way too long
