lean back reach forward with the feet

then lean forward, reach backward with the feet

repeat

find the rythm

as you move forward, lean back, reach forward with the feet, pull the chains a little

as you go backword, lean forward, fold your feet back under you, push the chains a little

keep the rythm, you'll be swinging in no time (on a swingset I mean)

First, you sit down in seat. Grasp you hands on the ropes or chains. Take your feet and kick back with all your might, it will get the motion going. As you go back you can feel the air pushing against you. When you start forward pull your body forward, then back and forth. That should get you going. As for a quick stop, drag your feet, but not to hard or you will end up on the ground. Better yet, get someone to push you. Good Luck! Sure hope this is not a troll. Shove backwards off the ground first. Lean back, when you lean back put your legs out in front of you. When you start going forwards, lean forwards, and tuck your feet back underneath you. :-)
