So far, Korea has not attacked any country since we kicked them out of South Korea. Saddam went into Kuwait, we kicked him out and then he didn't live up to the terms of his surrender.

North Korea is trying to provoke us. Bush is not stupid. Why do you think he keeps beating democrats? Anyway, he knows that Kim Jong Mentally ILL will soon take it too far. He's watching, laughing at the Asians and the UN while they wring their collective hands.

As soon as North Korea "accidentally" drops a missile on an ally, things will change rapidly. If they fire a missile at the US and it lands, you will need a new map of Asia. North Korea won't be there. China will only back them so far. They don't want to be vaporized, either.

The vast majority of reasons are due to political pressure both from his own party, and the general public. A part of the reason is also the simple fact that N. Korea IS far more dangerous, and they have the mobilized army capable of destroying some of our allies, like Japan. We would not be able to protect Japan from this if Korea decided to attack. We would, of course, retaliate and start a very large-scale war... but in the mean time, nothing good would come of it.

The powers that be had no problem going into Iraq because if they were to attempt to attack anyone else in that region, it would not really affect our economy, and in fact, would have the potential to strengthen it, as we would possibly become greater allies with countries that have... certain resources.

Because Bush is taking the diplomatic route and making sure all other options are exaughsted first before we do anything more drastic.

In iraq, hte UN security council made over 15+ resolutions that all the nations agreed to that said "Disclose your weapons or face serious consiquences" We gave saddam 15 + chances to disarm and disclose and he refused. When you make a statement that strong, you back up what you say and that is what he's doing now. We found 500 WMD's,

we're freeing the people, it may take a long time, but in the end I believe it's taking care of a bigger problem before it gets out of hand.

As for North korea, we haven't exaughsted all other avenues before you declare a full scale war. We need to get Russia and China on board though since they are huge suppliers to North Korea. Diplomacy takes time. You should probably be asking more left leaning congress people why we don't take them out. They tend to be the ones I hear more saying "We need to talk to them, understand why they're so mad, maybe we can reason with them." Just my opion.....take from it what you will

One Iraq dont have the firepower that N. Korea has..Dont like bush or agree with all he does but I hope some how he can keep us out of war..I know what missils are and how they work and what they can do.. X Navy seal..EOD. Let me explain something to you, not knowing you or your age and exper.. Our next war will most likely only last a few hours.. They send missiles and we shoot them down or vice versa. Everything will happen acoupple miles up and all the fall out will change man kind forever if not kill it off. we cant fire without them knowing nor can they.. Remember N.Korears crazy and the wrong move can set them off. I agree with you drop the big one..Korea believe it or not is no one to mess with..I remember them from before..Just hope I aint here for the next one...ROB

To all of you answering that: A) There is no oil. B) He is not smart enough and C) He is a coward: Are just wrong.

Did Panama have oil? Did Vietnam have oil? Did Gernada have oil? Did Cuba have oil? Did Somalia have oil? Oh yeah, I forgot. Of all the places the U.S. forces have helped, they have been rich oil thriving countries. You morons.

Ask yourself what Kerry would do in this situation. You want a coward, go look at him. He betrayed his own veterans. Any county in the world could walk over Kerry. Bush is a strong in opposition and strong headed on doing what is right. I am not some 100% pro Bush person. But I rather have him in charge over domestic defence and foriegn opposition over Kerry.

I think Bush does have a Plan but not all details are being revealed especially since The New York Times gives away Military Secrets (Treasonable offense).

Bush knows we can't win if we go against North Korea. They were the ones with WMD but he rather go after Iraq which he didn't handle well so he probably can't handle them well either.

I agree , but Bush has already invested x- billions in Iraq as well as numerous troops. The well is running dry as they say.Can this country afford another conflict without major social upheaval? It would be a close call.
