I agree with you. I am not sure whether it is the amount of disasters, attacks and hardships that I witness each day, but I can't really believe in something that I have yet to see do something to resolve the same.

Not really. Disasters, attacks, and human hardships are NOT on the rise. For example, ever since WWII human hardships have lowered and disasters if you are reffering to natural disaster like katrina, its not unusual, more people are moving to the coast, therefore it may seem like more people were affected.

If anything, people are becoming atheists because of scientific discover. The more we discover, the more scientific this world seems and less spiritual.

Just because people face hardships in thier life does not mean they have to give up faith, and become Atheists. It's all a test of faith. As much as I go through in my life, I always remember God, and have the courage to keep my faith. But yes, I do believe that as people face disasters and hardships many people are loosing faith in God.

I would actually think that people would be turning to religion more because of these disasters.

I would hope that more people are finding Christ but there will allways be some who choose obliteration over eternal life.

Probably so but when God allows a storm to happen this is a test to see who is gonna be faithful to him and who will not be.
