Its legal for medical use in many states (last i knew 8 but i know more have passed laws since then) the problem is that its still illegal on a federal level. what this means is that people can be arrested for using it legally in their state. The US gov spends 30 billion a year on the "war on drugs" much of this is needed (cocaine, heroin etc) however, its disgusting that our tax dollars go to funding the arrest of terminally ill patients using a substance that their doctor prescribed to them. It should be legalized and taxed. Marijuana comes from the kid next door trying to buy some new Jordans, not from some terrorist faction. Sadly, this will never happen since government feels a need to have a hand in EVERY aspect of a persons life.

No because it would cause younger people to try it. I've heard a lot of good things about it and a lot of bad things about the drug, but I still haven't tried it. And I won't because smoke makes me gag. So if I go to a restaurant and smell weed in the smoking section I'm leaving and 10 times out of 10 I won't return.

This is a herb but also a drug. Being high can cause damage watch CNN and the rest of the news stations.

The continuing story of, should we or should we not allow. for over 50 years citizens and law enforcement has asked that very question. I personally think NO, and hopefully you will understand. our citizens have been effected by drugs users for hundreds of years, and in some cases benefited from drugs. in most cases they have not, robbery's rape physical and personal property has been effected. your thinking, no I don't need to hear this, will people start with marijuana then lead to stronger drugs. let ask another question, are you or others reading this message, will you allow all of our children to freely use drugs, and possibly kill them self ? I would not. and if you do where will it end, this is the very nature of humans to over dose on some bad habit, and the other possibility, terrorist moving in and take over. we should all think before we act.

I wish they would legalize it so people like you would sit back and cheer and be happy.. You'd be screaming YEAHHH.. Its legal... The passed the law, YEAH!!!!

And then, they'd attach tariffs. And, then they'd say you can't grow it privately. And, then, they'd tell you can only use it in a smokehouse ( similiar to a pub) They'd be so many laws around it you wouldn't know what to do.... Id like to see your face when you walk to buy a pack at the corner store and see the price tag. $35 bucks a pack!!! HAHAHAAHHAHA... Becareful what you wish for my friend!

Yes. If I had not had it during my recent injuries (surgery on wrist and leg) I would have been in bad shape. I am allergic to all perscription drugs. Unfortunately for me I had to get it illigally because I live in the mid south.

Of course it should be legal, it only hurts the person using it, it dosen't hurt other people, so why keep it illegal??
