I just bought an iPOD and I also have a SanDisk Windows music player...looking to create a central library of only MP3 songs that can be used on both formats. I'd need to convert both my AAC songs and my WMAs....thanks!

iTunes allows you to burn an MP3 CD (different than an audio CD). You can then copy the songs back to your My Music library using Windows Media Player.

Go to the iTunes help menu and then type in MP3 CD as the help topic.

Windows Media Player may provide the ability to burn an MP3 CD aka a Data CD for converting WMA tracks to MP3. Or it may just transfer the WMAs to the Data CD unconverted. I haven't tried it.

If the AAC songs aren't from the iTunes Music Store, then you can just convert them from within iTunes.
