No, they will not. Leaders dont get in their positions without having a little bit of knowledge. If N Korea even attempted a terrorist attack, they would be getting pounded from every other country in the world.

Surely they know this. That is why they will not try an attack on any country. Becuase of harsh retalliation from the worlds governments.

The only way they would try something was if they had the backing of some other countries, enough to make a stand against those that oppose them. Otherwise they would fail at any attempt of 'winning' any kind of war (which would be started by a terrorist attack).

They will not commit a terriost attack, however, I believe within the next ten years we will have war on our soil. I think we have been pawns and are playing into perfectly. The Chinese actually want N Kkorea to antagonize us. We set a precedent with our preemptive strike to over throw Saddam so now what are we going to do with Kim Jung 111? China owns the 21st century whether we like it or not, they have already taken us over economically. They are now the largest economy, India is 2nd and we are 3rd and continually moving down the food chain. China has the largest military and Korea has the 5th largest military it would make sense that they make a deal with each other to physically take us over. China owns our debt and over 53% of the real estate in our country, basically they already own us which is why we turn the other way when it comes to their human rights abuses. We do not have the power we keep claiming. We are the big bullies of the world that really doesn't have a punch. It won't happen yet, but their goal is world dominion and it is just a matter of time. We are to self absorbed, shallow and greedy to stop it. That is what I think.

No, the North Koreans are not going to attack anyone. They have suddenly discovered that the US is a toothless tiger with a loud roar and a tail between its legs.
The N. Koreans have now realized the the West only respects those who are prepared to stand up to the West.
When Iran threatened enrichment , the EU and US has quickly offered substential incentives.
N. Korea has much more than Iran. It has N-Bombs and delivery systems. Now they want the world and in particular, US and Japan, to give them much more that what Iran is offered.
They have been ignored for too long. China is what it is today because of its sabre rattling in the 70's.
The N. Koreans want access to Western markets. And help in mordenising their agriculture and industries.That is all they are asking.

Yes most certainly. How does it help a victim to tolerate their bully.Where are the old bleeding hearts Does anyone care for the oppressed peoples of the world or just the dictators?Can we not see tolerating this dictator has created a real monster. Isn't anyone horrified that the UN has become an indulgent parent to dictators, a force against peaceable people.
They were initially united to raise the standard against corrupt governments offering incentives to force them to serve their people. What the UN has become is useless or even better corrupt.....Worse than the dictators they were supposed to help stop.
Dictators should not be recognized by any country,they have no intention of serving anyone one but themselves. If we let them have their way will they be nice? No they will be selfish spoiled brats,translated 'dictators'. Deal out the discipline bully's can learn just like two year olds.

No, N. Korea is not going to commit a terrorist attack against the US. They are going to do some stupid military tactics to try to get attention, but they would not think of all out war with the US. They are just bullys of the block, ready to run should the blocks big brother (US) come running over to check things out. I think that if they do something stupid though, the US will most definitely respond with military action, guaranteed!!!

Like them or not, they are a sovereign government, so their official acts by definition cannot be "terrorist." But their recent ICBM was aimed at Hawaii, and it was launched in the face of world pressure, so there is no reason to doubt them when they say they'll launch more. Better duck and cover!

--- A state can SPONSOR terror, a la Syria, or it can HARBOR terrorists as did the Taliban, but it cannot itself commit a terrorist act. A state attack on civilians is an act of war. And, yes N. Korea already has so attacked us, albeit unsuccessfully, and it will do so again (hopefully, again, unsuccessfully).

not likely!! north Korea is playing the same ole game they have since the Korean war. they want recognition as a super power. they are just like a little wimp kid going around telling every one how tough he is while all the big kids laugh @ him!! not to say we shouldn't watch Korea, but they are the least of out worries. so personally i would just let them run their mouth and shoot a few dud missiles. we do need to get the hell out of Iraq, because our world position is seriously compromised as long as we are there. i doubt very seriously if Korea would be so brazen if we were not looking bad in Iraq???????????????

If they can get the technology that will allow them to attach nuclear war heads to their missiles I think there is a good chance they will launch them at the US. They keep shooting missiles because they don't do it very well and their leader wants the world to sit up and take notice. He's like a demented child who wants his parents to pay attention and will do anything to get that attention.

Even though a government is sovereign they can still be a terrorist state. Yes, they will launch a nuke against the U.S.A. Why? Because Kim is insane.
