By opting to go out and meet people they've never actually talked to in any real way, and by doing so without any sort of supervision (adult or otherwise).

Well, first of all they give their personal info out to total strangers. There are some real sick people in the internet world, just waiting for the chance to assault children. They pretend to be a kid, or they say a bunch of things that make the child feel extra special. Kids then think these psychos really care for them and actually decide to meet them somewhere. I truly wish children would be extra careful when playing on the net and consider the consequences. :-(

By responding to "other kids" who say they are kids and then they meet them in real life and they are sickos who were pretending in order to have sex or do worse things. NEVER provide personal information on myspace like your school or jobs you've worked at or pictures of yourself in places that are recognizeable etc.... There are a lot of weirdos just looking to lure young kids and teens.

kids get killed on myspace becaues they give out info about themselfs that is ture like where they live and they even go as far as putting thier real picture on there myspace site and they talk to people that they dont know or know how old they r and stuff like that and when they give out to much info and the person finds out what house they live in and stuff then they go and kidnap them and rap them

their parents aren't supervising their internet time and what sites they visit. Myspace has zero rules and isn't safe, and these kids aren't being taught not to talk to strangers over the internet and they give out too much information. Blame the parents.

they don't they find some predator that likes little kids and they meet them somewhere and then they get killed.
