Yes, there are quite a few trademarks registered for thet phrase. No, you don't owe her money. The trademark for a phrase can be duplicated for different products and services used in interstate commerce.

Apparently, this is true. However, it's still okay for you to say it. You would only get sued if you used the phrase for profit, like placing it on products or something.
