head bolt torque please help?

1983 honda cb 1000c i need to know how much torque on head bolts... motor is almost the same as cb 750 dohc and cb900

CB750/900 use 26~29ft/lbs

Sorry, not torque specs on the cyl heads at hand. Sequence is generally in a cross pattern, like those of a lug bolt pattern for tightening a wheel.
Check with your dealer for head torque specs or ask the guys at www.westernhillshonda.com

26 ft. lbs in a cross x pattern should be just fine start with the center 4 top right bottom left top left bottom right and so on Gator Brothers NW customs
