Should i put my two year old into modeling?

MY two year old baby is very beutiful and very sweet and friendly I think she has real talent; She loves to sing and dance alot and loves to move to different kind of music i want to get her into modeling or whatever she wants to do. But where should i start i dont know .

First of all it depends where you live and your nationality. I know this because I worked for a celebrity endorsement company in Boston. I have a mixed daughter and you have to bring her to LA or NY, if u want anything to come of it. Small cities will take your money and tell you they will help you get started, but she will never go anywhere. You first need a portfolio of your daughter, which consists of black and white shots, color shots and cards that state information about her. For a good portfolio, expect to pay from $500 to $1500 for it. You can start her in little pageants, but you won't get anywhere. Research the internet and find modeling agencies that you can send her picture to, along with a bio. Most agencies will not deal with a 2 year old, unless she is well behaved and listens intently to direction. Best of luck

well, if u promise not to turn out like those parents that let their kids do that and then put tooooooooo much pressure on them and make them feel bad. I personally think that it would b a GREAT start for ur child for self confidence and may b she will bcome famous...who knows!? Just don't let the people running the modeling agency thingy take control of ur personal life and life style. If she does modeling when she gets older Don't let them make ur child feel fat when she gets older...even if she isn't. Even if she's really skinny! She doesn't need too much pressure. I've had friends who were REALLY skinny..go into modeling and then come to school crying saying that the people put too much weight issues down on demand. If they don't do that may luck b with u! Hopefully everything goes right for u and ur daughter.

Yes if you think she should then you should put her in. Heck maybe she'll become the next best model. Well you never know although if you see to much pressure is going on to you or the child just take her out. Just try and see.

Leave the baby alone.

People for some reason have this misconception about art and acting and modeling. It is a lower way of life. Being a model doesn't mean you are dumb it just means you aren't using your best assest, your mind.

How about you wait until she's old enough to understand and make most of the desision on her own-like 6 or 7. And do understand that ever mother thinks the world of her child.

As long as you don't push her and you are ready to do all that it takes to help her, I think it could be a fun experience for both of you. What does her dad think about it? Watch out for sleezy people and remember it is a tough business. Move to LA if you really want to get her started.

Let her enjoy childhood for a while and look into it, you don't know if you daughter wants to be a model. If you really want to do it, google it and get her into the business, it is good to start early.

But i started last summer and the best age 2 start is probably age 12.

go into the most beutiful baby contest. They have that alot of places. Then they'd get you ads and stuff.

Research audtions for commercials/print ads on your own. Don't get ahead of yourself, and over pay for perfessional photos, and agencies. If your baby has something that these companies are looking for all they will need to see is her looking cute, and being happy. LA has tons of open audtions.
