Does anyone know how to tell the gender of Zebra Danios?

The female's silver and striping marks are a little duller than the males.
It's still pretty tough to tell them apart... especially in a school, which is how they're best displayed.

the females will appear a "lighter" color than the males...stripes won't be as defined, etc....kind of dull-looking compared to more striking males...

drop a dirty magazine in the tank and see who goes to it
