You need to be more specific in order to get good, specific answers. I love Guiseppi (sp?) Zanotti, but they're pretty pricey, and the ones they have at Nordstroms this season are not as beautiful as last year's.

In general, department stores carry wider selections than boutiques (obviously), so without knowing more, that's the best idea I can come up with. I agree with the Nordstroms suggestion. They carry a good selection of nice shoes. If you don't mind spending a lot, Barneys (in LA, at least) has some beautiful shoes. Saks in NYC has beautiful shoes too.

You can find a good pair of dressy shoes at Nordstrom if you are willing to spend some money. Nine West and Aldo also have good selections. You might also try Baker's--they're a little less expensive.
