I've seen it, so NO, I'm certainly NOT under the impression that it was the LEAST BIT FUNNY.

How could you have possible thought that - did you see the previews?!? They were soooo bad - and you figure they show some of the best stuff to lure you in - sorry, no sympathy for you, that's 2 hours of your life you will never get back! And just a heads up - "Little Man" looks to be even worse...

Jack Black has the wrong type of personality for a movie by the guys who made Napoleon Dynamite. They need a low key dead pan comedian not a psycho raver.

I thought wow the napolean d guys and jack black... awsome
But to me it was not a good combination. I think it was a funny plot but Jack Black just seemed wrong in the part.
You can just see him trying not to turn into a raving lunatic, in your face comedian that is his usual style.
Frankly durung the entire film I was just watching for his charachter glitches.

With Jack Black you just naturally assume it would be funny-I'm not gonna see it-I heard it really sucked!!

i do think that it was they were aiming for - the previews never really looked very funny though

It is very common in Hollywood these days.Unfunny comedies.
