If you want to clear all the searches made in google... go onto the google website, click on the box and all the searches that you have typed in will come up on a down down list, put your cursor over the answers so that they are blue, but don't click and simply press the delete button. I do it all the time, it makes it less messy:)

If you want to clear the drop-down list in Internet Explorer, click on the Tools menu >> Internet Options >> Content >> AutoComplete >> Clear Forms. You can also uncheck the box next to it and save so those won't come up in the future either.

Clear cache and history using your web browser.

For IE, you can find it under tools->internet options->General Tab (Delete files & Clear History)
