should i buy contacts/what colors then?

Question

i wanna buy contacts because i don't like wearing glasses all the time... i wanna really be able wear contacts to like school maybe and like parties and on holidays and stuff....

if u had glasses and got contacts after.... did u like contacts better? and what type of contacts or whatever should i get?

which color should i get...? i have black hair and tan skin... my natural eye color is dark drak brown...looks almost black... i was thinking a littler brown or hazel... nothing too different like blue

I had glasses for 8 years and got contacts about a year ago. The contacts are great and I love them. no more broken glasses while I'm playing sports, no bouncing glasses when I'm running, and the best part is I can wear all kinds of awesome sunglasses. I say go for the disposable contact lens that are changed every month. And get clear ones to start with because that way you get used to putting them in and stuff so if you lose them, it's not as expensive. Generally, they come in 6 months supply and the cool part is you can change your eye color every time you get new ones. Good Luck!

I just started wearing contacts about a week ago and they're great. Im like you in the sense that I dont like wearing glasses either. Contacts are comfortable once you get used to them but somewhat of a hassle to clean. As far as colors go, I wouldn't get them if i were you. On of my friends who has black hair, tan, skin, is Asian, and has really dark brown eyes got hazel contacts and a lot of people didn't like them. I felt bad for her because people were calling her a white-wannabe (I think cause it looked fake) and stuff so I think it's better to stick to your natural eye color. Also- the color contacts will make your vision blurry a lot.

I liked my contacts much better than my glasses. I have problems with them somtimes, but generally they're great.

I have gas-permeable contacts, but you can't deciede on your own on what contacts to get. Ask your eye doctor - for different eyes and bodies, you'll need different kinds of contacts.

And don't get colored contacts! Dark brown eyes are beautiful :)

I definately like contacts better! I use Optix. They are soft contacts. And what's wrong with your eyes now? You can get colored contacts if you like, but there is nothing wrong with your original color. But maybe that's just me, 'cause I have a really pretty eye color.

Colored conts really messed my eyes up.They made my eyes dry and hurt.I could only wear them for short periods at a time especially at work.They made my eyes feel like they were cutting in half.
