One was an al Qaida loyalist!!

A terrorist plot to inflict death and destruction by attacking train tunnels used by tens of thousands of commuters each day was thwarted before the men could travel to the United States, authorities said Friday. Eight suspects — including an al-Qaida loyalist arrested in Lebanon and two others in custody elsewhere — had hoped to pull off the attack in October or November, federal officials said.

What is the FBI doing in Lebanon? They have no jurisdiction outside the US.

They can say anything I guess, hope they can prove something!

sure they don't have jurisdiction outside the U.S. but if they get wind of an attack that is gonna happen to our country...I hope they go out and do something other than sit there like 9/11...but I guess they could contact an agency that has jurisdiction outside the U.S. (of such an agency I've never heard of).

But as you said, they can say anything to stretch their jurisdiction and do something to make themselves look better
