I believe there is a new fashion line coming out for the fall season, inspired by urban America's homeless street fashions called "Derelicte"... look for it!

Come to New York. Go to Penn Station or Grand Central Station, in the wee hours, and especially in the winter. You will see the homeless people lurking around, sleeping and trying to be warm in the subway tunnels and around the platforms. You should then SHADOW them for a day or 2.
Or you can go to the Salvation Army's Bowery Street center, where they sleep at night. And STALK them when they go out for the day. See what they wear, eat, beg etc.
In L.A. you can find the homeless sleeping on the beaches. And so, you need to first decide on what kind of homeless look that you're striving for.
There are many homeless teenagers in NYC and L.A., and they may dress better than the adult homeless, but they all eat garbage from trash bins and toss-outs from restaurants.
After you become educated, it'd be kind of you to buy some good cooked food for them...to reciprocate.

no there aren't any "how to look homeless" schools. Just go to New York and look at the homeless people around Central Park.. or watch the Simpsons.

Go and find a homeless person, let him use your pad, leave everything you have at his disposal, and take his doorway.
You'll look the part in no time and your houseguest can have super holiday and a chance for a decent shower and slap up meals!
You'll get your wish and grant someone else's too.
Two birds with one stone!

Do you know how many people became homeless after 911 bombing, more you can imagine, because a lot of families lives pay check to pay check. you do not have to try life will tecach you
