Will we still be the Country of choice and still be America if we
continue to make the changes forced on us by the people from other countries that came to live in America because it is the Country of Choice??????
Think about it! All we have to say is, when will they do something
about MY RIGHTS?
I celebrate Christmas...........but because it isn't celebrated by
everyone..............we can no longer say Merry Christmas. Now it
has to be Season's Greetings.
It's not Christmas vacation, it's Winter Break. Isn't it amazing how
this winter break ALWAYS occurs over the Christmas holiday?
We've gone so far the other way, bent over backwards to not offend anyone, that I am now being offended. But it seems that no one has a problem
with that. This says it all!
This is an editorial written by an
American citizen, published in a
Tampa, FL Newspaper. He did quite a job; didn't he? Read on, please!
IMMIGRANTS,
NOT AMERICANS,
MUST ADAPT.
I am tired of this nation..

I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks
on Sept. 11, we have experienced a surge
in patriotism by the majority of Americans. However...... the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the "politically correct! " crowd began
complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others.
I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is
seeking a better life by coming to America.
Our population is almost entirely made up of descendants of
immigrants. However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand. This idea of America being a multicultural community
has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity.

As Americans......we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle. This culture has been developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.
We speak ENGLISH, not Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese,
Russian, or any other language.
Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language!
In God We Trust" is our national motto. This is not some Christian, right wing, political slogan.. We adopted this motto because Christian men and women.......on Christian principles.............founded this nation..... and this is clearly documented.
It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home.........because
God is part of our culture.

If Stars and Stripes offend you, or you don't like Uncle Sam, then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really
don't care how you did things where
you came from. This is OUR COUNTRY ,
our land, and our lifestyle. Our First Amendment gives every citizen the
right to express his opinion and we
will allow you every opportunity to do so!
But once you are done complaining....... whining...... and
griping......about our flag.......our pledge...... our national motto.......or our way of life....I highly encourage you to take advantage of one other Great American Freedom.......
THE RIGHT TO LEAVE.
It is Time for America to Speak up
If y
if you don't agree -- - You are in the WRONG Country!
AMEN
I figure if we all keep passing this to our friends (and enemies) it will also, sooner or later
get back to the complainers, lets all try,
please!

The way you ask the question suggests that you're not really interested in the correct answer but rather try to calm down the inner voice in you.
Hey, take it easy and RELAX! There are people who care about you, OK?
Have a nice day!

well, it's a question but several points to consider all jammed in one. first i'm not from the US and i feel as u dont want me to go there, too. but anyway, about christmas, i think u have the right to call it Christmas. In Brazil we call it Christmas holidays and we say merry christmas and no matters people from other religions. and they understand it.
Secondly, about September 11th, i don't believe there's a real Bin Laden. I think American People is controlled by the media and this one is controlled by the government, like Brazil has been for so long. if it's so, why we didn't have any notices about rich and famous people or even authotities died in that crash? what about at Pentagon? only servants were killed, not even one officer was. only imigrants, black and poor workers died. this is only the top of the iceberg. think it over. Forget the TV and search for better information. Be in Peace. it's not the end of the world.

This is American not a church. This country was founded by people who wanted freedom of religion. Yes, Winter break always occurs around Christmas. yes spring break occurs around Easter but what religious holiday occurs during Spring or Fall breaks? You can say whatever you like be it Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday, Happy Hanukkah or Bah Humbug. That is what t is great about this country. Be thankful that you have a right to complain that you can voice your opinion with out prosecution.

Just because you are a christian does not mean that you rule the country or ever should.
Calling it the holiday season or winter break is showing respect for other cultures and religions. The fact that you are offended by respecting other cultures or religions shows that you are a self centered, narrow minded bigot.
Also you are showing yourself to be the exact stereotype of what the pro-illegal alien movement is complaining about.
Get over yourself.

Good for you, I support you 100%. II feel the same way and I live in Canada. I am so tired of other peoples beliefs being forced on me and I cannot celebrate my own in public. I say if they cannot adapt to the western way of life, go back where they came from. I am tired of them crying prejudice when they don't get their own way. We should stand proud of our beliefs and if these immigrants don't like, that's just tough, they don't have to stay here. I think if they want to immigrate here, make do a stint in the armed forces, let them fight for the country they want to make home. How many do you think will change their minds then?

i hear ya,its getting so bad hear in Canada that you would rather be a refugee that a Canadian citizen.the Canadian government bends over backwards to lend a helping hand which i have no objection to but when it comes to helping a person born here, raised her and they don't have any claim to being a refugee or persons with native heritage all the doors slam shut in their face. we as people forget about the poor and hungry in our own neighborhood and go for the spotlight,as for religious rights I'm not allowed to say god bless you,I'm not allowed to say a prayer at work,I'm not allowed to wear any thing that might offend a person of another race or religion at work but other nationalities are allowed to wear religious head dress,

If you are so tired of the USA, the world is broad and the world is wide. No one keeps you here against your will. Reading your copies of old e-mails made me tired , too. Not one original thought!
I am tempted to be RUDE to you, but given your attitude and paranoia, I'm being polite, wouldn't want you to 'report' rudeness, of all things!
I repeat, if you are tired of this nation, there's a big world out there, and there are multitudes of people who would be thankful to take your place.

I agree, I'm not going to learn a language that is foreign to me, because all of these immigrants aren't able to speak english. I won't do it. I am going to move to Scotland the first chance I get.

That is true and i agree that it is ridiculous. I hate "Holiday Parade" and "Holiday Tree". Its ridiculous. We made our country a free country and it is also equal, even to people that aren't christians so to be "Politically Correct" we have to change things. I personally think it is sad to see this kind of thing happen.

I agree with you. Reverse discrimination never works.
Those people who want to neuter the majority will have to remember what goes around comes around.
