Mine is Carl's Jr; They own Hardee's, but it isn't near as good. :-(

Saki, Hardee's only sells the Angus burgers. Oh for a Super Star! They can't make them half as good for some reason.

interestingly enough both franchies are owned by the same company. carl's jr is on the west side of the country and hardees on the east coast. Although they have different products and some are the same with different names, they should taste the same cause they are produced in the same factory. But maybe presentation makes me think that the food tastes better? I tend to think that carls is much better than hardees.

I think In n Out has the best burger by far. maybe because they limit themselves to the West Coast and dont expand too big. Thats usually why most fast food places get worse, they become such a huge corporation that they forget about the quality of food.

Arctic Circle used to have the best bacon/ranch burgers, but ours closed down years ago.
Burgerville is pretty good. Carl Jr's burgers give me gas.

MOS Burger...

they're in Japan (and maybe one in Hawaii) - but they're great, not like a regualr burger - some come on pressed rice "patties" and they have this sauce/relish... mmmm

as far as traditional burgers - White Spot Legendary with extra triple O sauce (White Spot is a chain here in British Columbia)

FUDDRCKERS they grind each burger fresh as you order it, plus they offer a salad bar of fresh veggies to put on your burger, also the thick shakes are so thick that they cannot be consumed with a straw and some have a full alcohol bar inside the restaurant.
