Different whales eat different things. Some, like killer whales, eat seals, dolphins and other largish animals as well as fish. Others eat fish and the largest whale of all eats only very small things like shrimps (called krill) and phytoplankton.

There are an awful lot of different whales. Some are veggies and eat plankton. Some are carnivorous and eat other marine life. Pay no attention to the guy who suggested McDonald's. Thre is no whale small enough to get in the door

it depends on the whale but the blue whale eats plankton and krill.
orcas eat seals,sea lions,fish,etc.

most just open their mouth and swallow all what they can catch on their way (I'm being serious). Then their bodies processes it and they remain with the food, which is basically plankton and some little fishes. Ironically, they don't eat big things
