I think it is not only silly but very close minded to think that we could be the only people in the universe. Too many things in OUR own History have pointed to the fact that there have been "visitors". Science says we are all from a great cosmic accident...well why could that have happened elsewhere? Religion says we are created by God in his own image. If God so loves life, and it took him only 6 days to make this world, why would he not also make other worlds? Why do people believe that other planets having life would be against God? It took God 6 days to make our world...why do so many people believe that he would not also create life elsewhere? Have we already been visited? I do not know.We may not live to see proof of contact, but I believe in my heart that we are not the only ones in this vast universe.

The belief in life in other galaxies and universes contradicts many religions. The concept that God created just the earth is included in most major religions, so having life elsewhere is powerful evidence against most concepts of God.

This is the correct answer. Life exists outside of our solar system. However, we will never find it or have proof. Plus, that life will never find us here on earth, especially not in saucer shaped spaceships.
