Fertilizer can be virtually anything that enhances the growth of any member of the plant kingdom, whereas bullshit can either be the excrement of any bull animal or simply a nonsensical statement from a human.

Bullshit is all natural (hopefully) and has greater nutrients. It should be aged though before applying or it will burn your plants. Fertilizer is a generic term. It can be all chemical or a combo of chemical and natural ingredients.
