I dont but SOME white people say that because of affirmative action many blacks and minorites get jobs as well as tuition and scholarships because schools and employers are required to have a certain percentage of minorities. BUT..... white people WILL BE the minority within 10 years. When that happens those stupid rules will be changed and we will all have equal opportunities. I am white and I despise gangster rap and the new spanish music but that doesnt mean that I hate black people. In fact, you should remember.... MOST white men are JEALOUS of black athletes because in many sports blacks tend to accel over the whites because of genetic reasons..... something to do with muscle mass percentage. So dont feel bad, what goes around comes around. Some areas of our country are worse than others with racism. I found charlotte , nc to be a nice balanced mix. New york too.

Well some people hate white people...and some mexican, asian, australian...people are always going to have their prejudices but you shouldn't always be so quick to jump to black people..and in my opinion...some folks who hate black people are just jealous because no matter how much we've been oppressed in the last 400 somethin odd years...we still manage to overcome and surpass other people's expectations of us...we still get up after being knocked down several times and people wish that they could have a spirit like that...so instead they turn their jealousies to hate

I am white and I don't hate black people. As a matter of fact I have a lot of friends who happen to be black and they are not my friends because of their race but because of their character.

Well, there are several answers. One, they just don't appreciate people because of their skin color, and that is simply idiotic. Two, some people are sesitive to the past. Some may remember how the early settlers treated blacks, and assume those actions were fine and just be carried out today. Three, unknown. Some people are just bullies. Advice: don't make fun of them back. it makes you just as bad as they are. walk away. if people treat you differently just because you were made a different color than they were, the don't deserve to speak with you.
