Minus The Bear, The Secret Machines, Maximo Park, Inspection 12, The Swayback, The Flobots, Whole Wheat Bread (They're 3 black punk rockers from Jax, FL. They're crunk & punk. Check 'em out. Speaking of black punk rockers, Bad Brains were good. They're old school).

The Zombies. They're the great forgotten band of the 1960s who have enjoyed a recent revival. They played a very melodic and beautiful brand of baroque pop.
Also the highly unconventional, original and creative rock bands Primus, whose melodies are built around bass lines, and Ween, who play just about every musical style ever invented.

For something completely different - Xavier Naidoo. He's very popular here in Germany, but most other nations haven't heard of him. He sings in English as well as German. He also sings as a duo - they go under the name of Soehne Mannheims. His songs range from love songs to rap (with lots of different stuff inbetween). Well worth spending the time listening too - I've been listening to him all evening this evening - his stuff is so varied, you can't get bored with him.

Well this is a bit of a paradox, because if I could tell you who they are then that would mean that I have heard of them, and you said No one.
