I remember these from my youth....these are urban legends.....
We used to tell the candyman story, when we were on dates and parked on dark, desert roads....it was great to scare our dates with this story. Oh, the memories......

How funny. Actually me and my cousins tried Candyman after we watched it when it first came out. Nothing happened. Bloody mary is not real either. Its still fun though.

as a child, i heard these stories quite frequently. of course peer pressur became involved and i found myself in the bathroom with the lights out saying the name bloody mary before a mirrior. sure, i was a liitle creeped out, but after repeating the name enopugh times to become bored with it, i realized that nothing was going to happen.
so whn it came to be that the candyman stroies circulated to my ears i was jaded by my bloody mary experience and didnt bother trying.
in conclusion... bloody mary: no. candyman: no.

I would say yes to Bloody Mary. I remember trying it when I was in elementary school, it scared the hell out of me. I tried it again when I was an adult (19) while I was pregnant. I had horrifying nightmares for most of my pregnancy.

i have never been brave enough to try that bloody mary thing, but me and my friends always looked for clues and tried to find her and stuff during recess in elementary school.
