How do you tell the difference in leaking fluids?

Question

As in, how do you tell the difference between leaking amniotic fluid, regular vaginal discharge, and sweat? Is amniotic fluid completely watery, or can it be kind of thick, too? Argh, I am ready for this pregnancy to be over!! :)

Girl I feel your pain!! I've been there before. Amniotic fluid is supposed to be clear and warm. If it is brown then that means merconium is in the sac.(Baby poo-poo in the womb). Discharge is supposed to be clear also but a little slimy. And sweat is supposed to be clear also but cloudy when collected. So its better to test the consistency than the color. If you have too much of any of the above, then something is wrong. Hope I answered the question better than ewwwwwwww.

I think if you were leaking fluid youd know. it is more watery than discharge and you would probably feel like youve wet yourself. Pregnancy can cause increased discharge just wear a panty liner.

amnio fluid smells kinda bleachy....I am in the same boat sister...I have 9 1/2 weeks to go, and I am MISERABLE!!!I thought I was leaking fluid too, nope....Just the grand ole pregnancy incontinence..It sucks, I know...
