I mean, our society's moral base is weak. People just don't care about each other anymore. Life is a race to better yourself, who cares about those you step on or leave behind.

Very much so, it was hard for me growing up and only getting harder. I suppose they will adapt just like past generations though. I help in any way I can, I try giving good realistic advice that will help people younger than I when they ask.

No I don't feel pity for future races, because for every ill that you can point out in modern society, I can show you how we have advanced morally, socially, and ethically from past eras. Overall the good I think outweighs the bad developments. Unfortunately, we have a an outlook on society that is highly shaped by those in the media who make a living off of reporting on things that are sensationalistic or negative. After all, there is no profit on reporting that things are going okay.

yes I worry about my kids future. The way the world is and the poverty, the drugs, the lack of disipline, the determination to do whats morally and ethically right. All we can do is be postivive role models for our children. We need to show them how to be smart and responsible and to do whats right. teach them to love and and to never stop learning and to never run to the easy road when things get rough.

All of human history is rife with moral weakness. Human nature has its moments, but we are animals. Literally. We fight, compete, kill, and survive.
The good stuff we've done is just a bonus.
