Jinxed, no... but it is still a stupid thing to do. Considering that half of all couples get divorced, no matter how in love you are NOW, there is always a fifty fifty chance that that will change sometime in the future. And that's just marriages!! If all of us tattooed onto ourselves the names of all the people we've ever fallen in love with or dated, some people would barely have any of their own skin color peaking through. If there is EVER a chance that you will not be with that person, ie, they're anything but a Siamese twin, DON'T get their name tattooed in the hopes that you won't have to put out the thousands of dollars to have it removed in the future.

I am a huge fan of tattoos and even I wouldn't do it. I think people are in and out of each others lives so much that it will turn into a constant reminder of a failed relationship. There is a fine line between pessimism and reality there.

Absolutely yes, every couple I know that has exchanged name tattoo's have split up within a year of getting it done.

A friend of mine said afterward that he did it in an attempt to make things stronger between them.
He now has a grim reaper standing over her tombstone.

I'VE HAD MY BOYFRIEND'S NAME TATTOOED ON ME SINCE FEBRUARY AND WE'VE BEEN TOGETHER FOR 3 YEARS. I DON;T THINK IT JINXES YOU, BUT MAKE SURE IT'S SOMETHING THAT YOU WANT TO DO OR ESLE YOU'LL REGRET IT, AS WITH ANY OTHER TATT, BECAUSE THEY'RE FOREVER.

ALTHOUGH YOU CAN ALWAYS GET IT COVERED UP, JUST THINK ABOUT IT BEFORE YOU MAKE YOUR DECISION!!
