Personally, u should talk with your 17 year old and see if she is sexually active. Then decide if she should get one but its not a need for her to have one. I do have to say that I love the vibrator. I used mine a long time when I was 19 and i lost my virginity at 21. The vibrator works if she doesnt want to have sex yet. I hope whatever you decide as her parent will be good for u all. But it would be also weird for a parent to by a vibrator for there daughter and know that she is using it. But good luck.

First, observe your daughter and see if she is showing signs of wanting to become sexually active. If she is not. Then do not worry. However, if she is. I suggest a old fashion talk with her. Let her know about the many consequence involved in deciding to take that step. Start with the first time experience and then finish with the experience of giving birth. A vibrator might only encourage her to actually become sexually active with a guy who unlike the plastic can get her pregnant.

It would probably be best to talk to her first mother to daughter about her growing up and casually bring up the subject of sexuality.
If you 2 have a fairly open relationship, she may be OK with your suggestion (she may be freaked out). But don't just call her over and go ' Here you are, enjoy!', OK?

Why in the world would you want to get your daughter a vibrator. I don't think that is your department to take care of. If she wants one she can get one. Oh My Goodness! What next!

She could buy one on her own especially at Spencers. How do you know she's a virgin? There is no test and is a part of her private life. Your daughter is not a child and she will do as she sees fit at this age.

I do not think that it is appropriate for a parent to buy their child a vibrator. Wouldn't you want to make that a personal choice? Would you want your mother or father to buy you one at any age? Think about it.

you probably shouldn't get your daughter a vibrator when she is 17, if she needs that much pleasure she will show signs then talk to her about it, but if you give her one, she will think your crazy

No don't open up doors that are not ready to be opened.AS a teen let her decide and go get one on her own. That is something private if she gets one she may not want you to know about it.
