It depends. If he saw the first movie and didn't have nightmares then it might be okay. There is one scene in the beginning where a persons eye is taken out by a crow which may be wrong. Also, later on in the movie there are parts that have people with blood on their hands and faces. Davey Jones is kind of scary and Will gets hit with a whip five times, but they don't show it. But don't let this stop you. With the correct monitoring, they should be fine.

Its good idea to take an 8 yr old to pirates of the carribean 2, as long as an adult is with him or her.

It depends...If the 8 year old saw the first movie and was ok with it (liked it and didnt get scared or have nightmares) then I would say yes. But if they saw the first movie and were scared, its not a good idea.

i would not take an 8 yr old. there are some very gross scenes and some very scary parts. if your child is begging i recommend you go by yourself 1st and you make the call, however my opinion is no. the movie was excellent, i cant wait for the 3rd

actually it came out last night, midnight showing, and is now playing in most theaters.
hmm good question, i think it would be ok to take an eight year old, i am gonna go see it tonight....
hell ide take a 4 year old to see SAW, LMAO j/k
