If the divorce is uncontested, if money issues have already been worked out, if their are children and those issues have been worked out, there is no reason to hire another lawyer. Just read all the paper work very carefully before you sign anything. Good luck

An legal specialist can in ordinary words represent one celebration ethically. otherwise, this can represent a conflict of pastime. in case your divorce is amicable and also you both conform to all the words, then an legal specialist can draw up the workplace artwork for you both to report yet that legal specialist may in ordinary words be operating for one singular human being (spouse or the husband, not both). That being reported, the legal specialist will in ordinary words have the merely excellent pastimes of the hiring celebration (not both) at heart even as reviewing the papers. So, what may appear like an awesome record in the start ought to finally end up having distinctive themes for the celebration who the legal specialist does not represent - themes that were not initially concept about or seen because of the language getting used. So the fast answer on your question is that an legal specialist or regulation agency can not represent both events in a divorce.

Yes, if there is no arguements over property or custody battles. In MS, if there is no kids and no property, you can file your own and costs about $65. Make a copy of someone else's paper, white out the names, then fill in the blanks, go to court house, and file it. Thirty days after the judge will sign the papers, and you are divorced. Check with your states laws, and maybe you can do a similar procedure-again if both of you agree on everything. If you don't then you need a lawyer.

My first wife and I did, because we worked everything out prior to filing. It was just a minamal fee that way. It would be difficult for most I think, because so much bitterness and emotional pain is involved. We were an exception because we were friends, and both wanted what was best for our son.
