I really enjoyed Morrowind, and I want Oblivion. However I'm not much of a PC gamer. Is the Xbox 360 worth Oblivion? I don't really want an xbox360 for anyother reason.

I'd say the 360 is worth it if you have other games you want to use on it as well, *or* if you're a real Oblivion addict. Remember that the 'deluxe' 360 is supposed to be reverse compatible - meaning you can play your old XBox games on it - although Morrowind is not listed on the supported games as of June 2006.
You can also download mods for the 360 game through XBox live, but apparently they're charging for some of the 'official' ones. If lots of mods are important to you - especially free mods - you're better off with the PC.
I consider Oblivion a 'killer ap' for the 360, but that's me. Suggestion: Try someone else's system and see if you like it enough to buy the whole thing.

I have played Oblivion on both a PC and XBox 360. It's worth upgrading your PC for, but not worth buying an XBox 360 over. Combat and item/chat selection are far more difficult on the XBox controller and there is a good deal of choppiness and lag I never noticed while playing on a PC.
The game itself, however, is exponentially better than Morrowind, and probably the best RPG ever.

This game is the reason I want to buy a 360 also. But hold on for atleast unitl 2007 why? Microsoft is gonna release 360's with new cooling fans to reduce noise and heat production! Just keep watching oblivion gameplay movies.

i too have thouruoghly enjoyed morrowind, and i look forward to playing oblivion, but i am going to wait untill there is a wider selection of games for the xbox 1.5 ... i mean the xbox 360

I was in the same boat but considering it came out on pc thats where I got. I didnt play Morrowind on pc but Oblivian is just great on pc besides on 360 it has loads of problems just like Morrowind did. So if youve got a decent pc get Oblivian

Same here. I have already decided I'm not getting one until they at least give us a new Halo. I just can't see spending $400 on a system for one good game. If I had Oblivion and Halo I would be satisfied.

yeah, it is worth it. oblivion is a great game, and there will eventually be more games you want for the 360. and it can play cds, and dvds as well.

yes it is so worth it the graphics are great and the game is fun! plus if you get an xbox 360 there are a bunch of other games to play.
