GOOD QUESTION FOR THIS SITE!! Be your self not a phoney..Treat all as you would like to be treated.. Hope everyone on here reads this.. I'm retired and spend alot of time on here for something to do...I'm shocked at the some of the ans you see..Hard for me to believe that people can be this MEAN, RUDE, STUPIT, AND HAVE NO RESPECT FOR OTHERS. The one thing closest to a principle I live by is: "Let's see what happens...!" Not saying it's always easy or fun but it is unbelievable how much you can learn.... usually the hard way.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones
Do not judge.
Do two or more kind deeds a day. Your day goes better.
Be ethical
Keep your reputation in tack (Never do something you couldn't tell your friends and family about)
You have to step outside your comfort zone to experience life.

i agree with vidra and some others - i also go by the principles of my bible, its the foundation of my beliefs and practices

You have to give respect to earn it.

It applies to everyone even parent to child, teenager to the elderly, brother to sister etc...
