There are some great schools to take the make up artist course. In Vancouver there is Blanche Mcdonald. You can either do freelance work, movie sets or work for a cosmetics counter.

going to school does help some states dont require lisence for make up then apply at department stores or places like ulta they also will teach you clinque is good about teaching
